Tobi Amusan (R) at the Paris Diamond League.
Nigerian athlete, Tobi Amusan, reaffirmed her status as one of the world’s leading sprint hurdlers on Sunday, storming to victory in the women’s 100m hurdles at the Paris Diamond League with a season-best performance.
The Nigerian star and world record holder clocked an impressive 12.28 seconds at the Stade Charléty, finishing comfortably ahead of the field to secure another Diamond League triumph.
American hurdler Grace Stark came in second in 12.38 seconds, while compatriot Johnson settled for third place in 12.39 seconds.
The winning time matched Amusan’s season’s best, having also recorded 12.28 seconds at the Xiamen and Rabat Diamond League meetings earlier this year.
