Peel police say one person was pronounced dead at the scene after two vehicles collided at McVean Drive and Countryside Road around 10:45 p.m. Saturday.
One person is dead and five others have been taken to hospital after a two-vehicle collision in Brampton on Saturday night.
Police responded to a call about the crash at McVean Drive and Countryside Road around 10:45 p.m., according to a social media post.
Emergency crews responded to the intersection of Dixie Road and Queen Street East in Brampton around 1:25 p.m.
Peel police responded to the Bovaird Drive East and Yellow Brick Road area around 3:45 a.m., Peel police said.
The collision on Thursday left one man dead and multiple people seriously injured in Scarborough, according to police.
Peel police said a person was shot near Sandalwood Parkway and Crown Victoria Drive shortly after 7 p.m. Thursday.
Police have asked drivers to use alternative routes as roads are expected to remain closed for an “undetermined” period of time.
Police responded to reports of a shooting in a home in the area of Ray Lawson Boulevard and Brent Tree Court around 4:35 a.m.
