Russia has damaged 740 religious buildings in Ukraine.

President Volodymyr Zelensky said this during the Constitution Day ceremonies, Ukrinform's correspondent reported.

"Ukraine's wounded churches, attacked by evil, cut down by Russian bullets, smashed by guided bombs and missiles. Famous cathedrals in big cities and small churches in our villages. Temples, mosques, synagogues. Seven hundred and forty religious buildings in Ukraine were struck by Putin. This is who we are fighting. This is what our enemy is," Zelensky said.

He recalled that on the night of June 15, Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra and the Assumption Cathedral were added to the list of evidence of Putin's "madness," marking another manifestation of Russian aggression and, at the same time, another sign that Ukrainians' unity is their greatest strength.
