Three days after the devastating earthquake in Venezuela which has claimed over 900 lives with thousands more injured, more details are emerging of people being rescued from collapsed buildings.
The effects of the double earthquake – with magnitudes of 7.2 and 7.5 were felt across a large part of the country on Wednesday.
The coastal region of La Guaira, north of the capital Caracas, is the worst hit area where teams aided by those from the UK, the US and Venezuela’s neighbouring countries are concentrating rescue efforts.
