Members from various cultural associations were honoured at the Lok Bhavan on June 21 as part of the Foundation Day celebrations of Telangana and West Bengal states.The president of South Madras Cultural Association Prodyot Bowmick and secretary Sandip Dey felicitated the Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar.Abhijit Bose, a member of South Madras Cultural Association and executive president and COO at Tagros Chemicals Pvt Ltd, was conferred with an achievement award by the Governor for excellence in his field of work, said a release.Kids choir gave a musical performance followed by a graceful dance performance.From the Bengal Association, president Subhra Biswas and trustees Anjan Chakraborty and Parthasarathi Dutta Gupta were felicitated by the Governor in recognition of their contributions and achievements in their respective fields.
