PAGADIAN CITY, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR, Philippines — The Philippine Army’s Task Force Zamboanga (TFZ) turned over eight surrendered loose firearms to Zamboanga City Mayor Khymer Adan Olaso on Friday, June 26, highlighting the city’s continuing campaign for peace and public safety.
The ceremonial turnover, held at the City Hall conference room, was facilitated by the TFZ’s newly activated East Coast Task Unit which spearheads coordinated inter-agency security operations along the city’s eastern coast.
The surrendered weapons included .30-caliber bolt-action rifles, a .30-caliber Saginaw rifle, 12-gauge shotguns, and caliber .357 Magnum revolvers.
