Over the course of the week, Russian invaders deployed approximately 1,400 attack drones, nearly 1,500 guided aerial bombs, and 19 missiles of various types—including ballistic missiles—against Ukraine.
According to Ukrinform, President Volodymyr Zelensky reported this on Facebook.
According to him, 15 regions came under Russian attack this week. Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, and Sumy were shelled almost every day. “The Russians are using various types of weapons to strike at people, ordinary residential buildings, and our civilian infrastructure. Unfortunately, there are victims of this terror almost every day. And the threat of these Russian attacks remains constant,” the President emphasized.
“In just one week, there were about 1,400 attack drones, nearly 1,500 guided aerial bombs, and 19 missiles of various types, including ballistic missiles,” Zelensky noted.
He identified the following as priority areas: strengthening air defense, particularly anti-ballistic defense; developing cooperation under the Drone Deal framework; and increasing pressure on the aggressor.
