Operators of the Black Sky UAV battalion of the Spartan Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine have destroyed two Russian launchers of the S-300 surface-to-air missile system near the town of Volnovakha in the Donetsk region.
The brigade announced the strike on Telegram and released footage of the combat operation, Ukrinform reports.
"Operators of the Black Sky UAV battalion of the Spartan Brigade detected and destroyed two launchers of the S-300 surface-to-air missile system that Russian forces had deployed near Volnovakha along the Donetsk–Mariupol highway," the statement said.
According to the military, the destroyed enemy equipment was worth approximately $50 million. More importantly, the strike deprived Russian forces of the ability to launch attacks against frontline areas of the Donetsk region from those launchers.
