Every day, Ukraine continues its fight to regain control over Crimea and prevents Russia from “normalizing” its occupation of the peninsula.
Volodymyr Zelensky made this statement on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“Today, no one on earth would say that we are not fighting for Crimea or that we have forgotten about Crimea. Every day proves that Ukraine remembers every part of itself, every one of its people, and is truly fighting for justice for our entire state and every one of its integral parts,” he noted.
The head of state emphasized that Russia brought its war to Ukraine, starting precisely in Crimea.
“And now, through our actions—medium-range sanctions against the Russian occupier, our plan for long-range sanctions, and all other forms of pressure on the aggressor—we are doing everything to force Russia to end the war and restore justice. And Crimea is at the very center of our policy to ensure justice,” the President emphasized.
