June 26 (UPI) -- A South Carolina family's pet parakeet, Spoodles, was officially named the oldest in the world at the age of 32 years and 86 days old.
Guinness World Records confirmed Charleston resident Amanda Beth's bird is the oldest living parakeet.
"I always joke that he keeps not dying, so I keep feeding him," Beth said.
Beth said Spoodles was 3 years old when her mother gifted him to her in 1997.
