Ivan Toney insists he deserves to be at the World Cup for “more than just penalties.”
Toney has an incredible record from the spot and has also developed an amazing “no-look” technique which makes him a valuable asset in shoot-outs. That was definitely part of England boss Thomas Tuchel’s thinking when he called up the Al-Ahli striker from the Saudi Pro League.
But Toney says he deserves a bit more respect than just being a penalty specialist and is desperate to get a chance from the bench to help the team.
