Trump further claimed that his administration has removed more undocumented immigrants over a 12-month period than any other president.
The United States President, Donald Trump, has boasted that his administration has achieved the highest average daily immigration arrest and deportation figures in American history.
In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump insisted that no previous administration had matched his government's immigration enforcement record, dismissing comparisons with former President Barack Obama's tenure.
"It was just announced that, and I’m not necessarily thrilled to be talking about it because it does not exactly sound NICE, the Trump Administration has the Highest Average Daily Arrest Rate by ICE and CBP, including Total Detention, with Final Orders of Removal, than any other president, by far!" Trump wrote.
He added that judicial processes were preventing even higher deportation figures, and accused the courts of slowing down removals.
