Professional dancer turned Strictly Come Dancing judge Anton Du Beke turned the air blue after being asked to share his opinions on office work by fellow judge Craig Revel Horwood16:12, 26 Jun 2026In the Strictly Come Dancing off-season, judges Anton Du Beke and Craig Revel Horwood have been amusing themselves by making a podcast. But rather than just recording an hour of idle chit-chat the two ex-dancers have tried to bring some structure to their show with a quick-fire snap judgement section where Anton gives instant reactions to a number of words and phrases given to him by Craig.‌This week, the theme on their Judgemental podcast was office work, an area where Anton freely admitted that he has little or no experience of expertise. He quickly gave one-word negatives to the likes of “the dodgy printer” and “The office microwave” but soon got out of his depth.‌Anton managed a quick impression of Craig’s Strictly catchphrase when asked to give a verdict on “Reply all email disasters” before admitting he had absolutely no idea what a “personality hour” was.‌Admitting that he didn’t understand half of the common office work phrases Craig was quizzing him on, Anton suddenly launched into a foul-mouthed tirade that had Judgemental’s production staff working overtime on the censorship “bleep” button. He raged: “I am the worst person in God's earth to be asking anything officey. I don't understand a **** word of any of it.”Warming to his theme, Anton added: "The whole language makes me want to **** throw myself. **** … I hate everything about it. Corporate makes me want to **** something. **** Through the roof of my. ****”‌A completely unruffled Craig calmly replied: “Does it? That's all very lovely. But I've asked for yes or no answers, please.”A chastened Anton replied: “My apologies,” before going to to give his opinion on email, office Christmas parties, and “Office birthday cards with 47 signatures and no messages.”Clearly, having managed to get his anger at the corporate world out of his system, Anton came round to Craig’s way of thinking about after-work drinks.‌Although Anton had initially, dismissed them, Craig stated his opinion that after-work drinks are “valuable." He explained: “It’s where you can decompress."“If I was the CEO of a company,” Craig went on, “I'd be encouraging people, my teams, to go out and have an after work drink. You know, even if it does turn into a bitching session about me, but it releases things and then you don't go home with the problem.”Article continues belowGrudgingly, Anton replied: “Actually, I have to be honest with you. I agree with you.”Pushing back at Anton’s opinions, Craig also spoke out in support of people who brought a packed lunch into the office: “Like me wanting healthy things to eat at my desk that you're saying I'm not allowed to do. You'd rather me just bring in a great big Cornish pastie with a sausage roll and tomato sauce,” he said."I was just thinking of my dream job where I just ate Cornish pasties,” Craig added. “In the office, there's nothing like the smell of a freshly baked Cornish pastie in the office to get everyone working and salivating.”
