The arrest was made during a routine stop-and-search operation along the Lekki-Epe Expressway, where police intercepted an unregistered commercial shuttle bus carrying six occupants.

Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested a 21-year-old suspect, identified as Samson Onilewaji, after he was allegedly found in possession of a suspected human body part, firearms, axes, and other items believed to have been stolen during robbery operations.

The arrest was made during a routine stop-and-search operation along the Lekki-Epe Expressway, where police intercepted an unregistered commercial shuttle bus carrying six occupants.

According to a statement issued on Friday by the Public Relations Officer of the Command, SP Abimbola Adebisi, officers discovered a suspected human right hand, two locally made pistols, one live cartridge, two axes, one Point of Sale (POS) terminal machine, and five ATM cards during a search of the vehicle and its occupants.

"The suspect confessed to having recently robbed three individuals of their personal belongings, including the recovered POS terminal machine and ATM cards.
