Tennis' most prestigious stars will meet on the courts of SW19 next week, as they vie for glory in the third Grand Slam of the year, following the Australian and French Opens.‌Djokovic will look to close in on a 25th major championship in total and his eighth at Wimbledon, as he endeavours to put to bed a three-year drought in terms of Grand Slam wins. Raducanu, meanwhile, will look to add a second major title to her name, having failed to come close since her US Open win of 2021.‌The Briton has never managed to make it past the fourth round of Wimbledon, but will be hoping to change that this summer. However, both stars have stiff competition should they hope to secure victory, with Jannik Sinner and Iga Swiatek headed into the tournament as defending champions.‌Raducanu has been drawn against Croatian Antonia Ruzic in the first round of the tournament. The 23-year-old, who boasts a record of 225-118 in the singles game, has never made it past the first round.Serena Williams, meanwhile, has been drawn against Australia's Maya Joint for her first-round fixture. Williams will be looking for an eighth title at SW19, while Joint heads into the encounter at world No. 53 at just 20 years old.
