Brazil’s next test is set. As Group C winners, they face Japan in the round of 32 on Monday, in Houston — a tougher tie than the scoreline of recent wins suggests.
The Bovespa is flying. It jumped on Thursday past 172,000 as softer inflation data cheered investors, with the dollar easing back below R$5.20.
A weekend for the beach. With the sun returning, the sand, the seafront and the viewpoints are all firmly back on the menu.
