John Abraham has become a co-owner of the Rotterdam Dockers, one of the six franchises that will compete in the inaugural European T20 Premier League (ETPL), scheduled to be held from August 26 to September 20, 2026.Abraham joins an ownership and leadership group that includes former international cricketers Jonty Rhodes, Faf du Plessis and Heinrich Klaasen, along with Managing Partner Madhukar Shree, as the Rotterdam Dockers prepare for the league's first season.The ETPL will feature six city-based franchises representing Glasgow, Amsterdam, Edinburgh, Dublin, Belfast and Rotterdam, marking a new phase for the development of cricket across Europe.The tournament will consist of 32 matches and is aimed at providing a platform for emerging European players to compete alongside established international cricketers.
