MANILA, Philippines – Embattled MFT Group founder Maria Francesca “Mica” Tan vowed to return to the Philippines to face criminal charges despite regulators’ bid to cancel her passport.

In an interview with the Philippine Daily Inquirer on Friday, Tan said she was ready to face the legal process and submit to the courts.

“I am prepared to face whatever the proper process requires. That is exactly why I am returning,” she said. “I am returning to clear my name.”
