Lidl is offering jobhunters in Britain who have been out of work for six months or more a guaranteed interview for roles across its operations.
As well as being fast-tracked to an interview, people applying who have been out of work for six months or more also will not need to submit a CV.
Lidl said the move would 'level the playing field' and help people who have been out of work for longer periods.
Lidl said it was working in partnership with local employability partners including the prime providers of the RESTART scheme and the Department for Work and Pensions, who will identify and support candidates with interview tips, the chain said.
Eligible candidates will be contacted directly by the DWP and partnering organisations.
