The food safety teams of the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) uncovered multiple food safety and hygiene violations during an inspection at Zomato Hyperpure Private Limited in the IDA Kukatpally area of Hyderabad on Thursday (June 25, 2026).During the inspection, officials seized and disposed of 78 expired packets of Kitchen King masala and expired pizza sauce, besides identifying poor storage and sanitation practices. Samples of peanuts, dal, cumin and ghee have been collected for laboratory analysis.The inspection revealed that food and non-food items were stored together, vegetarian and non-vegetarian products were kept in the same freezer, and storage trays and the poultry chiller were unhygienic. Officials also observed flies near the vegetable segregation area, along with food spillages and leakages within the facility.
