The Louis Trichardt SPCA says investigations into animal sexual abuse are emotionally and physically demanding after a 21-year-old man was arrested in connection with the alleged rape and killing of 12 goats in Limpopo.

In a shocking case of animal cruelty, a 21-year-old man has been arrested in Limpopo for allegedly raping and killing 12 goats.

The disturbing incident has prompted the SPCA to call for urgent community action to combat the rising tide of animal cruelty and bestiality.

Members of the Louis Trichardt SPCA said they were assisting police with the case, which happened in Limpopo.

“The suspect has been arrested and remains in custody. Cases like these are devastating for everyone involved. They require countless hours of dedication from the police, our inspectors, staff, and veterinarians to ensure these animals receive the justice they deserve.
