After more than two years, Argentina will once again play at home in the Davis Cup in 2026. On September 19 and 20, it will host Turkey in Neuquén for World Group I. Argentina’s last home match was against Kazakhstan in Rosario during the 2024 season.
The series, which will determine a spot in the 2027 qualifiers, will carry significant additional symbolic value. Not only will it be the first time the Davis Cup is held in Patagonia, but this will also be the southernmost series organized by Argentina since its debut in the competition.
The games will be played at the Ruca Che Stadium on an indoor hard court, an unusual choice for a country historically associated with clay courts and outdoor venues. It will take place after the US Open and before the ATP tour in Asia, where matches are also played on hard courts.
The last time the national team played a home series indoors was in its 2008 final-round loss to Spain in Mar del Plata. Since then, 17 series have been held in the country, all on clay.
