Lagos Judge Orders Remand Of Accused Person Brought In Ambulance, Adjourns Case To July 3

When the matter was called, the two other accused persons, Fatai Shafi and Yusuf Ismaila, were presented before the court.

Justice A.T. Muyideen of the Lagos State High Court on Thursday ordered the remand of an accused, Hammed Tajudeen Akanbi despite the accused person not physically presented before the court.

Akanbi, who has reportedly been receiving treatment at the Police Hospital for more than 14 days due to a critical medical condition, was brought to the court premises in an ambulance and remained on oxygen support.

It was learnt that owing to his condition, he was unable to enter the courtroom.
