NORSI, Russia's fourth-largest oil refinery and second-largest producer of petrol, suspended operations on 24 June following a Ukrainian drone attack.

Details: The plant is located in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, 450 km east of Moscow. It is also known as the Nizhny Novgorod refinery or Nizhegorodorgsintez, and belongs to Russian state oil company Lukoil.

The attack damaged the plant's main CDU-5 processing unit. The capacity of this unit is 12,000 tonnes per day, accounting for approximately a quarter of the plant's total production capacity.
