Lizzy Caplan has joined the cast of FX‘s upcoming “Far Cry” TV series, Variety has learned.

The series was first reported to be set up at FX in November 2025 from creators Noah Hawley and Rob Mac, with Mac also set to star. Exact plot and character details remain under wraps, but the series will follow an anthology format like the “Far Cry” video games and feature a different cast and setting each season.

Caplan is no stranger to FX, having recently starred in the limited series “Fleishman Is In Trouble” for the basic cabler. Her work in that show earned her an Emmy nomination for outstanding lead actress in a limited series. She was previously nominated outstanding lead actress in a drama for her work in the Showtime series “Masters of Sex.” Caplan’s other TV roles include “Fatal Attraction” at Paramount+, “Zero Day” at Netflix, “Party Down” for Starz, and “Castle Rock” at Hulu.

In film, Caplan recently appeared in the thriller “Cobweb” and has starred in features including the “Now You See Me” franchise, “Cloverfield,” and “127 Hours.”

She is repped by UTA, Rise Management and Jackoway Austen Tyerman.
