Summer is the peak season for residential burglaries, and most security cameras cover one angle with one lens and hope the intruder walks into frame. The Reolink OMVI 3i PoE uses three lenses simultaneously: a 10MP dual-lens panoramic camera covering 180 degrees and an 8MP PT camera that auto-tracks anyone the panoramic camera detects. Amazon has it at $209, down from its $299 standard price, for total 18MP triple-lens coverage with AI detection, perimeter protection, color night vision, and 24/7 recording. This deal requires Prime membership, and the 30-day trial runs without a card.

Three lenses, one camera, no blind spots
Standard security cameras cover a fixed field of view and record whatever enters it. The Reolink OMVI 3i’s SyncTrack system works differently: when the 180-degree panoramic camera detects motion, the PT camera instantly locks on to the detected subject and tracks it continuously, maintaining close-up detail even if the person moves outside the panoramic camera’s field of view. The dual-screen view shows the full scene and the tracked close-up simultaneously, which produces footage that identifies faces, clothing, and vehicle details at the moment of detection rather than providing wide-angle footage where the intruder is a distant figure in the corner of the frame.
