Through its partnerships with trusted organisations, The Star Foundation continues to address critical social challenges such as helping to alleviate hunger, improve access to education, combat homelessness and support quality care for children living with disabilities.
Education remains one of the most powerful ways to break the cycle of inequality. The Star Foundation’s partnership with The Spirit Foundation continues to create opportunities for young South Africans from underprivileged communities to access quality education.
Each year, 10 learners are given the chance to attend leading schools in the Western Cape. A total of R400,000 is contributed to cover their educational journey from Grade 8 to Matric.
