Kenyan actor, scriptwriter, filmmaker and digital creator Abel Mutua, popularly known as Mkurugenzi, has officially surpassed one million subscribers on YouTube.
The milestone further cements his position among Kenya's most influential digital content creators.
Abel celebrated the achievement alongside a colleague, sharing videos that captured the subscriber count climbing steadily before eventually crossing the one-million mark.
Mkurugenzi's YouTube channel hosts over 702 videos, including popular short films, mini-series, cultural narratives and viral comedy sketches.
