CEBU CITY, Philippines — Former Cebu Provincial Capitol consultant Byron Garcia has posted bail anew after a court in Mandaue City ordered his arrest in connection with three cyber libel cases.
The arrest warrant was issued on June 24, 2026, by the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 83 in Mandaue City, presided over by Judge Allan Francisco Garciano.
The latest charges add to Garcia’s growing legal troubles, coming less than two weeks after he secured temporary freedom in a separate case involving alleged violations of the Safe Spaces Act.
