This recipe used jackfruit

A favourite of Mughal King Jehangir, this Khichdi is rich with tender jackfruit, rice, dal, ghee, rosewater, and saffron. The recipe has been shared by author Priyadarshini Sharma, who found her grandmother’s cookbook from 1984 and discovered 59 vintage khichdi recipes.
