Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda is travelling to Gdańsk on Thursday for the Ukraine Recovery Conference, where he will be joined by the country's foreign, energy and finance ministers. The event is overshadowed by a diplomatic row between Poland and Ukraine that has led President Volodymyr Zelensky to pull out altogether.

Nausėda will use the conference to reaffirm Lithuania's commitment to supporting Ukraine until victory, investing in its reconstruction and backing its European Union membership bid, the presidential office said.

He will also attend a separate meeting of leaders from NATO's eastern flank to discuss regional security and preparations for the alliance's upcoming summit in Ankara.

Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys will speak at a session on the Ukraine Transport Support Fund and sign a joint declaration with Sweden and Ukraine aimed at coordinating support for the restoration of Ukraine's critical transport and logistics infrastructure.

He will also sign a bilateral declaration with Ukraine's ministry for community development, committing Lithuania to supporting Ukrainian municipalities in planning reconstruction and managing international aid.
