BANNU: Terrorists dropped two explosive devices on the premises of Haved police station using a quadcopter on Wednesday morning. As a result, two Frontier Corps personnel, Sepoy Ghulam Zada and Sepoy Saddam sustained minor injuries, while two government vehicles were partially damaged.

It may be mentioned here that multiple security-related incidents have been reported across Bannu district, raising concerns about the law and order situation in the area. The incidents included a quadcopter attack, mortar shelling, abductions and a suspected drone strike, underscoring ongoing security challenges in the district.

In a separate incident, Nisar Ahmad, head teacher of Government High School Sardar Khan Mandev, Miryan tehsil, was allegedly abducted from the school by unidentified armed men. However, later he returned home safely.

The headmaster was reportedly taken away by two armed terrorists during school hours, causing concern among his family, colleagues and local community. CCTV footage of the incident later surfaced, showing the armed men escorting the headmaster from the school premises.
