Honestly, I didn't expect to be writing this fourth article. When I started building Spatial Memory—the "Pinterest for the Physical World" where you pin memories to GPS coordinates that only unlock when you're physically there—I thought "Okay, cool idea, build it, launch it, maybe a few hundred people will try it."

Three months later... let's just say I learned the hard way that location-based apps have a chicken-and-egg problem the size of Mount Everest.
