It is now hovering around at 24,140, up nearly 0.4 per cent.A strong bounce off the support at 23,800 on Wednesday indicates that the bulls are gaining traction, especially considering the extension of the rally in today’s early trade. However, the price action over the last few days shows that 24,180 is acting as a good barrier. On the back of the current positive bias, if Nifty futures surpasses 24,180, it can see an upswing to 24,380.On the other hand, if the contract declines from the current level of 24,140 it can find support between 24,025 and 24,000. If Nifty futures breaks below 24,000, it can turn the outlook weak, potentially leading to a drop to 23,900 and 23,800.That said, overall, the bias remains positive at the moment and the breakout of 24,180 is likely to occur.Trading strategyBuy Nifty futures (Jun) if it breaks out of 24,180.
