My review unit came with both and while I’ve used other footrests in the past, this one made me realize I’ve been sitting wrong my whole life.As someone on the shorter side (5’4”), I found that my feet end up dangling instead of resting firmly on the floor with a lot of the office chairs I’ve tested over the years. The one that came bundled with the LiberNovo Omni finally fixed this but the padded upper platform is great when you’re fully reclined at 160° as it allows you to put your feet up and keep them up comfortably.I know $800+ is a lot to spend on an office chair. However, the LiberNovo Omni is cheaper than a Herman Miller Aeron and it comes with a headrest too.
