More professional organisations seem to rise to the call to help Rivers State find its feet again, after political disturbances that may have injured the state’s reputation capital and set its growth back.

While the investment promotion agency and other government agencies seem to rev up the engine, other entrepreneurial and professional bodies are also mounting activities that have helped to bring back confidence in the state.

Now, the Rivers State Branch of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM) has announced plans for the 27th edition of its Annual State Conference, a flagship gathering designed to shape conversations around the future of work and organisational sustainability.

Scheduled to hold as a hybrid event in Port Harcourt, the conference is said to be set to bring together participants through both virtual and physical engagements under the theme: “Work, Workforce & Workplace: Driving Agile and Sustainable Organizations.”
