An Indiana man has been charged with stalking Indiana Fever player Sophie Cunningham and allegedly sending her threatening and explicit messages through social media, according to court records and prosecutors.Kevin Singh, 48, was charged on June 24 with felony counts of stalking and intimidation, along with a misdemeanor harassment charge, as per Associated Press. He was arrested a day earlier, according to the news agency, citing the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office.Investigators say Cunningham reported feeling more and more fearful due to Singh’s alleged conduct. According to a probable cause affidavit, the WNBA player told authorities she had been staying home more often and experiencing nightmares because of the continued messages. She said she first became aware of Singh’s alleged online activity in February.Prosecutors said Singh’s online behavior escalated over time and "became increasingly threatening after he was contacted by team security."Court documents allege that Singh sent numerous messages to Cunningham on the social media platform X in April, including explicit content. One message allegedly stated, “You’re literally down the street from me!”According to the affidavit, Cunningham’s team sent Singh a cease-and-desist letter on April 30. However, investigators allege he continued contacting the player afterward, sending additional explicit and threatening messages through the platform.The affidavit also states that in September 2025, Singh hand-delivered a package addressed to “Sophie” at the Indiana Fever’s home arena. The package allegedly contained a letter and a Guns N’ Roses T-shirt sprayed with men’s cologne.As per Complex, in one post, he reportedly wrote, "I gotta find a new way to talk at you." Another message allegedly stated, "Yes, I'm in love with you. 1000%. That's never gonna change."Prosecutors said Singh is currently serving probation in Hendricks County, Indiana, after pleading guilty in July 2025 to two felony counts of invasion of privacy.
