PORT HARCOURT — A young woman identified simply as Eno has died after she was struck by a vehicle travelling in a convoy within the premises of the Rivers State University in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The incident occurred on Tuesday on one of the roads within the university campus. It was not immediately clear whether the deceased was a student of the institution.
Sources said the vehicles involved in the convoy were allegedly driven by students of the university.
According to eyewitness accounts, some members of the convoy fled the scene immediately after it became apparent that one of the vehicles had hit the victim.
