June 24 (UPI) -- Adventure Time: Bubblegum and Marceline, a new spinoff in the Adventure Time universe, is coming to HBO Max.
The streaming service announced in a press release Wednesday that it has ordered a 10-episode first season of the animated series.
Bubblegum and Marceline will follow the characters of the same name. The Adventure Time series finale ended with the pink-hued princess and the punk-rock vampire queen as a couple.
The new show will see the pair "journey across the farthest reaches of Ooo, encountering familiar faces and new dangers," an official logline reads.
