A proposed Medicare policy threatens to reshape how ophthalmologists treat glaucoma. At issue is the anterior segment intraocular nonbiodegradable drug-eluting system, more commonly known as iDose TR (travoprost intracameral implant, Glaukos). The policy deserves scrutiny before it becomes final.
