Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who was last seen in The Bluff, has opened up about her journey as a producer and her ambitions to further expand her career in the United States.
The actress pointed to the low-budget horror hit Obsession as an example of how opportunities for emerging talent and filmmakers have become more accessible, according to Variety.
Speaking at the Cannes Lions conference this week, Priyanka said, “I feel like if you have an idea, shoot it, put it on YouTube, and it can become ‘Obsession,’ the movie that just came out”.
“What a wonderful time to be an entertainer, to be in the entertainment business, because ideas are your currency”, she added.
