Tech Mahindra CEO Mohit Joshi’s salary jumps by 11.76 per cent to ₹67.55 crore in FY26, 1,085.27 times the median emloyee salary, as per the company’s annual report.Joshi’s salary stood at £ 5.4 million for the year with £2.93 million as Employee Stock Ownership Plan and Employee Stock Ownership Plan and £1.11 million as performance pay and bonus. Excluding the ESOP hike, his salary increased by 20.39 per cent.Joshi’s was the lowest salary hike within the board after Chairman Anand G Mahindra who reported a 10.95 per cent increase in wages. While his latest salary is not detailed in the report, last fiscal Mahindra’s salary had fallen by 3.5 per cent to ₹1.36 crore.Meanwhile, median remuneration of employees in the same fiscal, reduced by 4.89 per cent and the median remuneration of Tech Mahindra’s permanent employees during the financial year under review was ₹ 5.9 lakh. As per the filings, employees other than the managerial staff and Board members received a remuneration of ₹18.90 lakh for male employees and ₹16 lakh for female employees. The company reported 1.47 lakh total employees in FY26.“The focus this year was not only on hiring at scale, but hiring with precision, deploying with discipline, and building capability for the future,” said the company in its filing adding that hiring was done with a target to support growth in priority markets and service lines, while maintaining a strong emphasis on critical skills required for next-generation technologies, digital engineering, cloud, and AI-led transformation.Published on June 24, 2026
