On Friday 26 June, the Working Party on Enlargement and Countries Negotiating Accession to the EU (COELA) will again consider the assessment of the screening results for negotiating clusters 2-6 for Ukraine, a process delayed by Hungary on 23 June. If approved, the EU will invite Ukraine to submit its negotiating positions for each cluster in order to begin discussions on opening them.

Details: Hungary is holding up the formal preparation process for the opening of clusters 2-6 for Ukraine at the technical level. On 26 June, EU member states will attempt to persuade Budapest to lift its objections.
