June 24 (UPI) -- Prime Video is teasing Batman: Caped Crusader Season 2.
The streaming service shared a trailer for the season Wednesday ahead of its premiere July 31.
Hailing from showrunner Bruce Timm and executive producers J.J. Abrams and Matt Reeves, Batman: Caped Crusader is a film noir-inspired animated series about the DC Comics superhero Batman, voiced by Hamish Linklater.
The show, described as "a hard-boiled animated series that follows the fearsome vigilante in his early years," sees a younger Bruce Wayne, aka Batman, fight crime in Gotham City.
Season 2 will see Batman contend with villains Edward Nygma, aka The Riddler, and The Joker.
