The commission said the deliberate targeting of minors is a factor establishing a deliberate strategy to destroy the biological continuity and future existence of the Palestinian group in Gaza.
It concluded that these actions amount to genocide, atrocity crimes, and crimes against humanity in the Gaza Strip, along with war crimes in the occupied West Bank.
The report titled “The essence of childhood has been destroyed”: Israel’s deliberate targeting of Palestinian children in the Occupied Palestinian Territory since October 7, 2023, was presented to the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) on Tuesday, June 23.
