Dickinson fronted the BBC's Bargain Hunt for four years from 2000 to 2004, and since 2006, he has presented his own antiques series, Dickinson's Real Deal. The presenter made the switch to ITV after his time on the BBC antiques game show.The star has been married to former cabaret performer Lorne Lesley since 1968. The couple met at a Manchester nightclub in the 1960s and their eyes locked with no turning back. David adopted Lorne's two children from a previous marriage, Robert and Katrina.They've also become doting grandparents to Aim'ee, Lauren, Miles and Finley. Their grandson Miles made history on Dragons' Den, becoming the youngest participant ever to successfully secure backing from a Dragon. Finley appeared alongside David on Big Star's Little Star.During a 2017 interview with The Mirror, David said of his wife: "Lorne lets me think I'm the master of my own home. Any girls who know what they're doing lets their man think they're in charge, but we know we're not really."
