Indian fans of Attack on Titan will have to wait just a little longer for the franchise’s final cinematic outing. Attack on Titan: The Last Attack has officially been rescheduled for release in Indian theatres on July 24, replacing the previously reported June 26 launch date.The announcement comes alongside the release of the film’s official Indian trailer, which has been made available through PVR INOX’s YouTube channel, offering audiences a fresh look at the epic conclusion to one of anime’s most celebrated modern franchises.Serving as a feature-length compilation of the anime’s final chapters, Attack on Titan: The Last Attack brings together the events of Attack on Titan Final Season: The Final Chapters and reimagines them for a theatrical presentation. The film centers on Eren Yeager’s devastating decision to unleash the Rumbling, a cataclysmic march of Colossal Titans that threatens to wipe out civilization beyond Paradis Island.As humanity faces extinction, former comrades and bitter enemies are forced into an uneasy alliance in a desperate attempt to stop Eren before his plan reaches its apocalyptic conclusion. The story represents the culmination of more than a decade of storytelling that transformed Attack on Titan into a global cultural phenomenon.The film originally premiered in Japan on November 8, 2024, following the broadcast of the anime’s final specials in 2023. Yuichiro Hayashi directed the project at MAPPA, with Hiroshi Seko overseeing the screenplay and series composition. Longtime franchise composers Hiroyuki Sawano and Kohta Yamamoto returned to provide the score.Based on Hajime Isayama’s bestselling manga, Attack on Titan has become one of the most successful anime franchises of the 21st century, earning worldwide acclaim for its political timelessness and morally complex storytelling.
