One person was killed in an overnight attack on the city of Balakliia in the Kharkiv region, which also caused damage to residential areas.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by Head of the Balakliia City Military Administration Vitalii Karabanov on Telegram.
As a result of the attack, one person was killed. Another resident suffered an acute stress reaction, Karabanov said in a post.
In addition, private residential properties in the city came under fire.
"All relevant emergency and municipal services have been working at the scene since the first minutes after the attack. Efforts to eliminate the consequences of the shelling and provide the necessary assistance are ongoing," Karabanov added.
