The Oyo State Government has approved the imposition of a 16-hour curfew across 10 local government areas in the state, following a directive issued by Governor ‘Seyi Makinde.

According to a memo issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Musibau Babatunde, and signed by the Special Adviser on Media to the Governor, Sulaimon Olanrewaju, on Tuesday, the curfew will take effect from Wednesday, June 24, 2026.
