Kolkata: The Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress on Tuesday intensified its attacks on party rebel leader Ritabrata Banerjee, with spokesperson Kunal Ghosh demanding the West Bengal government to take action against the leader of opposition over alleged complaints made by a woman.The Mamata Banerjee side also submitted a new list of Trinamool office-bearers to the Election Commission of India, claiming the expiry of the previous one, a day after the dissident bloc formed its own National Working Committee. On Tuesday, referring to CM Suvendu Adhikari's speech on women's safety, Beleghata MLA Ghosh said action should be taken against Ritabrata for certain complaints made against him by a woman. Ghosh slammed all the Trinamool dissident MLAs who won on TMC tickets and joined the dissident bloc, calling them "betrayers".
